About Us

Gallery Lefevere was founded from a longstanding passion for modern art, with Corneille and Ton Schulten forming the principal pillars of our collection.

We select distinctive, signed and limited-edition artworks, including regular editions as well as exclusive Artist’s Proof (EA) and Hors Commerce (HC) examples. Every artwork is carefully examined for authenticity, provenance, condition and overall quality.

Where possible, artworks are documented or certified by the relevant artist, studio, foundation or recognised authority. Works by Corneille may, for example, be submitted to the Fondation Guillaume Corneille in Brussels, while works by Ton Schulten may be accompanied by documentation from the Ton Schulten Atelier or the official gallery in the Netherlands. Each individual artwork description clearly states which certificates and supporting documents are included.

Many artworks are professionally reframed using conservation-quality methods. Depending on the individual work, this may include acid-free materials, specialist internal mounting, dust-resistant sealing and anti-reflective art glass with UV protection. These measures help preserve and protect the artwork so that it can be enjoyed for many years.

Gallery Lefevere stands for personal service, transparent information and a carefully curated collection of Dutch modern art.

In the future, we intend to offer corporate Art Lease services for a selected part of our collection.
