Choose your Art Lease

Private Art Lease:

Available for selected artworks with a listed purchase price from €1,000. Private clients can choose between rental only or rental combined with personal purchase credit.

Business Art Lease:

Create an inspiring and professional environment with a carefully selected art collection from Gallery Lefevere.

ART LEASE Private — 3% per month

Option 1 — Art Rental

Enjoy your chosen artwork for a monthly rental fee equal to 3% of its listed purchase price.

  • Minimum lease period: 12 months

  • No purchase credit is accumulated

  • There is no obligation to purchase the artwork

  • Gallery Lefevere remains the owner throughout the lease

Example based on an artwork valued at €1,295

Monthly rental fee: 3% × €1,295 = €38.85
Total rental fees over 12 months: €466.20

Option 2 — Art Lease with Purchase Credit

Choose a monthly payment equal to 5% of the artwork’s listed purchase price. This consists of a 3% rental fee and 2% personal purchase credit (Savings)

  • Minimum lease period: 12 months

  • 3% covers the monthly rental fee

  • 2% is reserved as personal purchase credit

  • Purchase credit can be used toward the future acquisition of an artwork from the available Gallery Lefevere collection

  • Purchase credit is not transferable or redeemable for cash

  • Gallery Lefevere remains the owner until a separate purchase has been completed

Example based on an artwork valued at €1,295

Monthly rental fee: 3% × €1,295 = €38.85
Monthly purchase credit: 2% × €1,295 = €25.90
Total monthly payment: €64.75

After 12 months:

  • Total payments: €777.00

  • Purchase credit accumulated: €310.80

  • Rental fees paid: €466.20

ART LEASE business — 2% per month

Business Art Lease is available when leasing a minimum of three artworks. The monthly rental fee is 2% of the combined listed purchase value of the selected artworks, excluding VAT.

  • Available from 3 artworks

  • Monthly rental fee: 2% of the total artwork value

  • Minimum lease period: 12 months

  • No purchase credit is accumulated

  • Gallery Lefevere remains the owner of the artworks

  • VAT may generally be deductible for VAT-registered businesses, provided the artworks are leased for taxable business purposes

Example based on three artworks with a combined value of €5,000

Monthly rental fee: 2% × €5,000 = €100.00 excluding VAT
VAT at 21%: €21.00
Total monthly invoice: €121.00 including VAT

For a VAT-registered business entitled to full VAT deduction, the effective monthly cost excluding VAT is €100.00.

TAILORED BUSINESS COLLECTIONS

For business collections of six or more artworks, Gallery Lefevere provides a tailored Art Lease proposal.

The proposal can be adapted to the total collection value, lease period, location and any requirements concerning delivery, installation, insurance or periodic rotation of the artworks.
